On Wednesday, May 22nd, Mrs. Hines’ 6th-grade social studies class traveled to Clear Lake to visit the Clear Lake Museum, Clear Lake Park, Clear Lake Veteran’s Memorial, and Paulson Brothers Ordinance. The students had a great time and learned so much. Special thanks to Bergmann’s Greenhouse for making the wreath that was present at the memorial, Doug and Virginia Cahow for the tours and their wealth of information, as well as Bruce and Bernie Paulson for sharing their collection of cannons and their knowledge of Civil War History. ~ Mrs. Hines
