⚡💡⚡Mechatronics combines Mechanics, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Robots & Controls. There are courses designed to teach all of those topics that will be covered throughout the school year. The courses involve textbook and hands-on lab learning. We just finished DC Electricity, where we learned about the basic different types of components in a circuit, how to analyze them, and build them on a mobile lab unit in the classroom. ~ Instructor Jeff Matz

On Friday, October 3, 2025, Ms. Pickard and five second graders attended the Roll, Construct, and Launch Engineering workshop at CESA 11. The workshop was led by Solange from the Science Museum of Minnesota. The students used problem solving skills like engineers and completed engineering challenges throughout the day. A favorite activity of the day was creating and launching rockets. 🚀 👷
